We’re a Stonehaven based riding club providing membership and training opportunities for riders of all ages and skill levels.
Welcome to Stonehaven and Area Riding Club
Stonehaven and Area Riding Club was formed in 2006 by two local lassies, with a huge support from an experienced group of local keen equestrians within the Stonehaven area. They felt that there was a lack of local training and events that catered towards people of all skill levels - from the scared and terrified to the competition rider - and so SARC was born!
The club became affiliated with British Riding Clubs in 2007, and makes up part of British Riding Club within Area 22. The number of members grew and grew once formed, with the club now having almost 150 members annually. Whilst predominantly Stonehaven based, there are members from as far North as Aberdeen and as far South as Forfar!
There is an ethos within the club and its members to support one another and with a team spirit, for which SARC is regularly complimented on. We aim to cater for all members as best as possible – no matter their geographical location, age, or skill level!
